This is a sister set of almost mirror images. A digital collage was composed using various images of the late Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Photos range from her childhood, injury, paintings and intimate images.
The significance of the gun tells a story of femininity and protection. Frida’s story is one of strength and tragedy and this set aims to capture the complexity of that.
